Lidia Nguyen Ripoff Deceptive and Careless seamstress, DONT let her ruin your Bridal gown, Ruined my $300 brides maids dress when altering my dress, bad coustmer service

When I get my dress the dress had been ruined from her lack of care, don't take the risk of her having a slip up on your bridal gown or expensive gown. My dress was sewn very carelessly and puckers where Lidia sewed the dress and did a poor job. After her mistake she did not fess up to she still had the face to request to be paid the higher quote she gave me.

Her husband raised his voice at me very violently and threatened to keep my $300 dollar dress if I refused to pay Lidia the charge. I felt very violated and wanted to prevent anyone else from feeling this way, don't take the risk of having your gown ruined and having poor costumer service. Lidia acts as if she doesn't understand you and hides her mistakes with her disability to speak English well since she is of Asian decent don't let that fool you she understands you she just acts like she doesn't to prevent facing her mistakes. When I came in Lidia gave me a quote and pinned my dress very quickly and gave me another quote I was upset that she increased the charge of the alterations but decided to eat up the cost b/c I thought since her boutique was located on Post Oak and she alters Bridal Gown dresses she would do a good job. I was also in a hurry to get my dress altered since the wedding was 4 days away.

I come in when it's ready and the brides maid dress was sewed with a train when I specifically remember the dress not having one b/c the bride did not want her brides maids wearing a train. Lidia changed her story to hide her mistake of her assuming I wanted a train and persistently kept telling me that this was the shape of the dress and followed the line of the dress. She tried to convince me to take it and pay for it also hurrying me out so I wouldn't question her very much making me feel very uncomfortable b/c I felt she was lying to me. I called up the other brides maids and asked them if the dresses had a train on there's after they had there dress altered at another boutique. They told me none of the dresses had a train on it.

I then asked her to remove it and to charge me the regular price of a straight cut b/c she told me she charged extra to have the train made and said she told me about it when I clearly remember crossing only 3 words with this lady while she was pinning me which was to tell me the 2nd quote or the higher price. She lied to me when I asked her for a price list of her services and told me she only had it as a guideline, meaning she makes up the charges of her services. Whatever she feels like charging you is what she will quote.

What kind of business goes off of these kinds of guidelines, you are supposed to have a standard list of prices not make them up when you providing services. I do not recommend Lidia she is very rude to you and brushes her customers of very quickly like she has better things to do which her nature of business is her customers I don't know why she treats her customers this way.
