Colonial Real Estate management company in Harker, Heights Texas, practices misleading, fraudulent, dishonest, management practices. Their lease agreements are full of confusing complicated jardon to confuse and mislead military soldiers and their families.

Families maybe hit with exoribant fees for almost any reason, their customer service and maintenance program only adds additional cost to the renter with poor workmanship. My experience with them certainly prompts me to write this letter.

My family lived in one of these properties while I was deployed for one year. Upon my return I was shocked to find so many unresolved problems. It was very difficult to get any thing fixed even tho I was paying more than 950.00 per month. The management made little effort to repair many of broken items, leaving my family frustrated with little help.

After leaving the property I was charged for all kinds of trumped up repairs and replacements... I felt the company was using my 1,000.00 dollar plus security deposit up so not to return what was rightfully due. I don't recommend this company for any reason, they are taking advantage of soldiers and their families in desperate need of housing... Please watch out!!!
