Ripoff - Attempt to collect false debts with threatening letters

I cancelled my membership with BMG Music Service last year in August because BMG would send a featured CD that I did not order each month and bill me for it. After I canceled my account with them, almost a month later, they sent me another CD. When I attempted to send it back to the sender through the mail, the post office sent it back to me again with a stamp saying I could not send this parcel back, so it has been sitting on my self, still in its origninal box, unopened.

BMG has been sending me letters each month telling me that I ordered the CD and that my account is past due. Keep in mind, I cancelled my account in August. Finally, the last letter I received from them states that payment for the CD is over five months past due and that if I do not send payment in full, which includes 4.50 in late fees, that they are going to take more aggressive action.

I am responding to them by sending back the UNOPENED CD along with a letter stating that I never ordered the CD and an Invoice to them charging them with the fee to mail back the CD and for storage of the CD for a period of five months. I also am advising them that if they do not pay the amount on the invoice within 30 days, I will begin collections against them.

I am providing a copy of my letter and invoice to all of my local newspapers and news stations, so please if you are in a similar situation with BMG Music Service write back because I am considering a law suit against BMG Music Service for attempting to collect on a false debt. If there are a considerable amount of people then maybe a class action law suit can be filed.
