Ripoff related to promotion and cancellation

I made the mistake of signing up for this as a part of a promotion. The promotion turned out to be bogus and when I went to cancel, they refused to credit me. I was on hold for 45 minutes just waiting for someone to talk to and when I insisted on talking to someone who would help me without me being on hold again, he hung up on me. I don't expect anything to come of this except maybe someone else will be warned and not make the same mistake. Thanks
