This guy is a real piece of work.

Placed an order on March 21 for some custom made cabinet doors, custom made drawer fronts and some hinges. Sent the money as he requested. The invoice on the bottom states "Doors will ship via FedEx in approx. 3 to 4 weeks, if it is longer than 4 weeks you will be notified. Once doors are shipped customer will be given tracking number and projected delivery day".
Week 4 came and went and I hadn't received any notification of a delay, or the product so I e-mailed them and they responded with the following:

Sorry it has taken so long to get back with you I had a mishap in the shop last week, and I have been out of commission for a week, so no yours will probally ship out the following week. I apologize for the delay.

That would have ment that the order would be shipping the last week of April. Of coarse it did not and I remained calm, and contacted them again starting the first week in May with the following result.

Thank you for contacting Michael's Custom Cabinets. Due to a death in the immediate family we will be closed the first part of the week.
We apologize for any inconvenience.
Thank you.

That message went on for over 2 weeks. I was able to reach them by phone late in the evening, May 26. I politely asked what the status of the order was and he replied he thought he could have it done by the end of the next week. Well June 3, has come and gone and still nothing.

I have tried to reach them numerous times since and now they do not answer the phone at all, and they do not return calls if you leave them a message.

So at this point I am now VERY PISSED OFF. On Wednesday June 8 I received an e-mail response from them reading the following:

We are working to finish all our orders. You can assume what you want about our company, that is your choice. If you want to wait I don't know the exact date as to when yours will be completed, when you called me the other night I had just got home from a family crisis and really wasn't in the right mind to discuss someones order at that time. If you choose to wait I will be in a better position to tell you when to expect your order on Friday.

Guess what today is? FRIDAY and no response. No suprise!

Not sure how their hole scam works but it sounds pretty much like a money maker for them and a money loser for the customer.

They may have got me this time, but hopefull this report will prevent him from getting any other people.
