Rippoff Charging for service after canceled and threats

I attempted to closed account at web site and advised it didn't take when I was asked if a popup window opened after clicking cancel. Upon recieving bill in April, I called and account was canceled with Wendy again on April 13 and advised credit would be issued as she saw account was inactive.

Recieved a letter on May 9 and called spoke with customer no service and was advised they were trying to credit account but as it had risen above $50.00 to $62.25 it would be hard.

Recieved another letter May 13 threating credit damage if not paid. Called and spoke with Amy at Extension 14530 and she said bill was due regardless of what took place. No credit would be issued. Asked her what I had to do to get ride of them and was advised to pay the bill.

I think the word EXTORT fits this company as even if you cancel you still pay for services never used as they threaten your credit rating. I had service during all the disputed times with Skyline Telephone and verified such.

Companies like this should be fined by the FCC and that is my next stop to file a complaint.
