Incompetent, rip off customer service reps it's obvious bill tricks are made because reps get commission if it's paid a certain time that's why customers are pressured

I wasn't sent a bill statement until 2 days BEFORE the deadline which is May 12! This mornng I called the office and spoke to a woman who claimed that I haven't paid since march. I asked could she extend it to the 19th and she claimed she couldn't! She could only do it to the 14th. If the of amount of $64 is not sent by the 14th, there will be phone interruptions. So I said, that the phone will just have to get cut off then. After I spoke with her, I realized that i did make a $50 payment in April. So I called back and spoke to a guy who told me that I can only be given an extension of the 13th!!! I told him that I recieved this deadline notice 2 DAYS before the 12th and all he said was "He understands that" But if payment is not sent in by the 13th, there will be phone interruptions! We have been with Bell South for almosy 4 YEARS plus we just got the DSL package! I don't understand why an extention of a few more days couldn't be made!
