I almost got ripoff but usacomplaints.com.Com saved me

I too was a victim to this company's phone call.

The day after I agreed to get this unknown credit card I came to this web site and read some of the stories of other victims. I am so glad that I did. I was lucky enough to close my checking account before they got their money. I was furious about it.

I happen to have the number they originally called from and I found out it was a fax number in Canada. I wrote a letter stating who I talked to and when and that I didn't want this credit card.

I also explained to them that I was going to send my letter to anyone that could do anything to keep this from happening to me or anyone else.

To my surprised they called me. He stated that he did cancel it (I am not sure that is happening) and stated that even though there were over 80 complaints on this web site many others have received it. I told him that I was not going to take that chance.

I don't know if this information will help anyone but that fax number is 403-219-3008. Thanks for helping me on this company.
