Coast To Coast Movers
Ripoff took items and money and can not be found

Coast to Coast movers agreed to pick up my stuff and store my items from Florida until I found a place to buy in Maryland. I paid half the move up front. I gave them all my contact numbers in Maryland and was told I did not need to call until I was ready to have my items delivered. I received a call from Coast to Coast movers in the end of November.

I was told that my stuff was going to be auctioned because they tried to reach me and could not. This was not true, if they had tried, they would have reached me as they did this time. I was told they would not auction off my stuff. I expressed my concern of why they would even consider this as we had an agreement for them to store my stuff. The had only had my items for a short period of time.

I called coast to coast movers today to set a date for my move. All numbers have been disconnected and my stuff can not be found. I filed complaints with the attorney generals office, the state of FL division of consumer office and Florida Citizens Services. Apparently this company has been blacklisted. I was advised it is very possible my items have been sold or auctioned off by the storage company affiliated with coast to coast movers. EVERYTHING IS GONE INCLUDING FAMILY ITEMS AND PICTURES THAT CAN NEVER BE REPLACED!

These people are criminals and I can only hope they are found. If anyone has had the same situation with the company and had found any other information please contact me.
