Phone bill cramming Ripoff

I received a collect call on my phone bill that i was not home for and since i live alone, there is no one to accept the charges. I contacted the company, Operator Assistance Network (800-944-9646), on the advice of my phone company. After getting disconnected several times using the automated system without even speaking to someone, i decided to bypass the automation and speak with someone directly.

This is where the problems began. I talked to one person who could not remove the charge so she offered to connect me to the company they were billing me on behalf of. That company is nationwide connections inc. I was disconnected again. I called back and spoke with another person who said the same thing about not removing the charges and tried to connect me to nationwide connections inc. I told her i did not want to be disconnected again so she gave my their number, 888-343-5114. So i called this number a a polite woman answered the phone, "citibank credit card thank you redemption network".

Now i am pissed! So i call the operators assistance network and request to speak with a supervisor and tell them my problem with the phone number and that i smell something wrong. He places me on hold and then comes back on to tell me he just called the number and that it does in fact work. Bulls#) t!!!
