Trek Alliance
Don't waste your time on this scam

I was fresh out of college and searching my ass off for my first job. Of course I posted my resume on Monster.com and got a call from Trek Alliance. They had some cover up name like "Southern Alliance" or something to hide their true identity. Anyways they told me they had a position for marketing which also might involve some sales. So I go down there the next day and walk into the office full of a ton of other people of all ages. I had bad feelings right then. Then I was led into a seminar room with a shelf of all of their products set out, a bunch of their "successful" sales people were in there to greet you and tell you how wonderful the company was. I should have left immediately but I decided to at least stay for a little while. Then some shithead came up and did his little sales pitch on direct sales and how Trek Alliance eliminates the middle man blah blah blah. He talked about all their herbal products they offer and he probably spends most of his time outside of work smoking another kind of herb. He showed us their harmless glass cleaner by squirting it in his mouth and swallowing it. Then showed us their water filtration system that costs $275.00. I really wanted to leave, but they said a break was coming up so I waited. They gave us the option of leaving (If they didn't I was going to sneak out anyway) so I left. I wish I had the guts to say, "F* you for wasting my time!" on the way out but I just left. I learned very quick to ask questions about the specific position you are interviewing for and to no waste time with company's who beat around the bush to get you to come in. For those of you who believe this crap I have one thing to say, "Suckers!"!!! Michael
