Ripoff dishonest thief double billing sneaks

In Sept. 2003 I called cingular to question my billing.in April. I dropped 2 phones (I had 4) from my "family plan". As a result I started getting larger phone billes. They were still billing me for these 2 phones. Mind you in April our plan was up. They admitted that error and corrected it but I rec. Only a partical credit.

In Dec I up graded one of the 2 remaining phones. Now I didnot change anything but the phone. But my bills where averaging 250.00 a month. At first I blamed my husband for going over the minutes.
Then as the months went on and after numerous requests for detailed statements Cingular only gave me detailed statement for 1 number. (mine). On it i saw that i was being billed for the minutes i used on the family planned.

I called them on several occiasions and was told that it was fixed and I would see it on the next bill. Never happened I was still getting 250.00 bills.

They would not send me detailed billing for the other number. After persistant calling i finally had both detailed statments not ony were the billing me my family talk minutes they where DOUBLE BILLING IT. FROM MY PHONE TO HIS AND HIS TO MINE.

By this time we are in April of and I am arguing with them. They said they would put the account in "dispute" for they would straighten it out and I would get "my refund" at this time it estimated about $600.00. May came and went with another 242.00 bill. Again the same call the same song and dance they would put it in dispute. Please note you can not make a payment when bill is in "dispute".

At different times I was told they dont have files going back any futher then 3 months. I kept telling them but I do. I would be happy to fax them their detailed bills. They wouldnt except that.

I even went to 2 stores 1 where I first purchased it and then to a regional store neither place could help me.

June's bill came and it was "right". I owed them approx 127.00. That was better. When I called to ask about the refund. They said I had a balance of 332.00 I inquired about the credit and they told me. That it was turned down They dont give credits for claims over ninety days. I told them I had the proof that they owe this and that they can take the credit due me and apply it to my account and that at this time I am closing this account.

On Dec 4th of 2004 I get a phone call from a collection company. Tring to collect this cingular bill. Which cingular continued to bill me according to this collection co. Until October.in the amount of 487.00.interest and thier 18% fee.
