Ripoff when I ship a pakage

I contact this company if they did ship pakages to Mexico and they told me that thye ship worldwide. I paid them almost $480.00 and I took the item to Chicago into a port. It was a 65 Hp boat motor. They told that was the total price. When the motor was in Mexico they start to applied more charges. They said $1,800 pesos they told my dad. When my dad agree to pay that much money, they increse the price to almost $1,000 USA dollars.in October they were asking for storage.
I gave up. I need help to get my money back. The total price of the motor is $625 plus shipping and all the handlind I did.
