Ripoff unprofessional no support fly by night outfit

The primary purpose of writing this report is so that I can contact some of the other contributors. The consumer complaints requires that you file a complaint before they will give out email addresses. I too am a distributor for Holiday Ink. That is their new name; changed recently as has their address. They say it is because they needed more space. I think they are hiding.

It became clear to me soon after becoming a distributor, that this isn't the big opportunity that they represented. I was told a lot of "untruths". Unfortunately, you don't know that you have been lied to until after becoming a distributor.

The name of Andrew Deveau appears in one of the complaints against this company. This is my opinion but I don't think that he works directly for Holiday Ink. I believe they are a marketing company whose sole purpose is to sell distributorships. Their profit is the difference between to cost of the distributorship and the actual cost of the product and supplies. Some of the things I was told that aren't true are: All cartridges are new! Not true.

They have multiple distribution centers, including one on the east coast so my orders would be received in two day. Not true. There is only one distribution point on the west coast and orders take at least a week and backorders take forever.

There are many more. I am fortunate that I got into this business with only three displays.

The other complaints I have read about Holiday Ink are all true. Communicatons are non-existent. Orders are mis-processed. I had to place an order 4 times before it was shipped. There is virtually no support after becoming a distributor. Of the approximately 60 types of cartridges, I have sold about 30. I am going to be stuck with 30 non-sellers.
I could go on.

My plan is to make the best of a bad situation. I will keep running the business as long as possible to try and recoup my investment. I have already found a supplier of cartridges that I think are better quality and are priced about 30% less than Holiday Ink distrbutor prices. I have found a rack supplier who sells a comparable rack for $95.00 so I may expand cautiously.
I'm not too worried about them yanking my distributorship.
