Gazebo that failed - Havenbury gazebo

Purchased a gazebo for $300 on June 24. I assumed a gazebo could be left outside. However in October it rained in the Bay Area of California. This light rainstorm was enough to collect some water on the fabric roof and collapse the metal rods that form the roof structure. I took a picture and took it to Target. They agreed that a gazebo should last more than a few months. However they had clearenced out all their gazebos so they could not give me a new one and suggested I come in when they had them in stock again.

Went in last week and guess what, they do not carry gazebos any longer because custormers have experienced huge problems.in fact they do not carry the "Havenbury" on their website this year only the nets for it.

They told me it had a one year warranty from "SunJoy" and I wrote but they are not inclined to do anything.

There were no warnings on or in the picture stating that it was not appropriate to put and leave the gazebo outdoors. Small claims? What are options to resolution?
