Ripoff fraudulent billing

On August 20th MCI debited my checking account for the amount of $63.68 for my September bill and has been trying to collect that amount again ever since. Due to additional problems with MCI I cancelled my service with them around the first of September.

In the last four months I have literally spent in excess of 15 HOURS on hold and on the phone getting a run around trying to state my case. I have faxed my bank statement to the research department and mailed a copy to the collections department.

Whenever I have been able to talk to a live person they say there is no record of MCI receiving payment and further more they don't have authorization to debit my account, but they did. I've received monthly statements for that amount since September and now they are threatening to send me to a collection agency.
