Outragious rip off

First call 207 stupidly signed up started gettin magazines monthly payment being made. After first year
started recieving notice from magazine company themselves for renewal. So i didnt renew thought it was over. 2011 recieve a call from empire collections for 848.75. I was suppose to continue paying them but the magazines had stopped coming

Got another call on 6-04. Was told they were just trying to verify my information on my account. Once i verified the information i revieved a latter welcome me to american readers choice family. I called sherman at empire collections and he said no no no they cant do that cancel that now. So i did got my paperwork done they said do and cancelled on 6-12

Someone calls me again tryin the same thing and i keep telling them no and what has already happen. Now this person said as long as i give him a current card to satisfy the account from 6-4 (that i know i cancelled) he would forgive and forget the first account from 2007. I told him no again. He threat with collections. When i asked what he was collecting for he changed the subject and told me again if i just give him current information there would b no more phone calls sure

I asked my question again and he did the same thing again so i just hung up and google the company and was lead here
