Overseas Buyers Scam ripoff

I had used EBay in the past for online auctions and never had problems so I recently got back on there to try and sell my car. I had my first auction ended with a "Buy it Now" and the guy was from Singapore. He was supposedly an agent and his client was going to send me a cashier's check for me to cash and keep my part for the purhase of the car and then Western Union the excess to him for his fee and shipping. Well, luckily for me I looked on the Federal Bureau of Investigation's website and found an article claiming this was a scam and that the cashier's check comes back invalid and the money ends up coming out of YOUR account.

I ended that whole deal and changed my numbers. I notified EBay (Who did nothing) and then ran the auction again. This time I got the same thing happen from a different user... He was from Africa. They always use the "Buy it Now" and dont ever bid. Also, their accounts are set up the day before they buy it and then cancelled right after. This is very fradualent and will take your money. I have since let Ebay close my account and I refuse to pay them. Dont ever deal with any overseas people on their or agree to take a cashier's check and Western Union any money back. I hope this helps anyone else from getting scammed.
