Dishonest Employees at Pier One

I will never shop in this Thousand Oaks, CA store again. We went in this store and bought a $650 dresser and the guy wanted us to open a charge. We said no, but then he said they were having 10% off and no interest for a year. So I said yes and opened the charge. When I got my bill I noticed that we were in fact charged interest and I called the store and the store mgr said no they have never had a "no interest" promotion so I closed out the charge card and paid the bill off. I was bothered by the fact that an employee would lie to get me to open a charge card since they get credit for having customers opening a card. The manager was very rude and I wanted to talk to the District Mgr, but she wouldn't give me the number so I sent a letter to the CEO of Pier One. If someone lies to me that shows no integrity I won't shop there again.
