Made one mistake and now there screwing me. E

So about a year ago maybe less, i got a call at work and this girl was telling me that if i sign up for these magazines that they would supply me with this nice watch and other free things. For what ever reason i gave them my info. I get the first package and i notice theres no watch nothing, just forms to fill out that i have to subscribe to something else of theirs to get it and the other things they "promised" me. So time goes by and i guess i never noticed that they were charging me more and more that they eventually maxed out my credit card. (my limit is 500)

Thats when the calls started coming in and saying how i need to fix it so they can be paid. (it ends up being some jackass douche on the phone) So i say i want to cancel and they say that i cant, that i only had 3 days the cancel when i signed up. So i kept ignoring there calls, then today i recieved in the mail a letter saying how they are soon going to do Involuntary pay procedures. I just want to know if there is anything i can do to stop these rats. One simple mistake and it gets to this, its just not right. Any advice is much appreciated... Thankx

Ps, i put the company is from NJ cause thats where the number that keeps calling is from.
