Ripoff rude & nasty customer service and umcompleted work

I contracted with Lowes in Boynton Beach Fla. To install granite countertops, and bought $5,000 worth of appliances to go along with the $4,000 counter. I also bought an expensive faucet, garbage disposal etc. The counter top was installed and done beautifully. The worker was very nice and did a beautiful proifessional job. That's where any compliments end.

The plumber scheduled to come the next day called and asked to come the following day. I agreed. He never showed. I am now without running water in my kitchen. I called the plumber and was informed that they stopped doing work for lowes that day. I called Lowes and they seemed surprised and told me they didn't know. They would get me plumber. They called back, and said he would come the next day.

He came, said he couldn't stay long and was in a hurry. He told me the plumbing had to be reconfigured (which I already knew) and there would be an extra charge. I knew that also. He said that the faucet I bought was no good because it was missing some screws. Told me to return it and get a new one. He would come by the next day&which he never did.

Meanwhile the dishwasher and over the range micropwave was being installed that afternoon. The man came and said he could install the dishwasher, even though there was no connection—said the plumber could tie it in. With the microwave he said I needed a shelf installed because the old range/micro was a one piece unit. I told him nobody told me that when I contracted for the work. I asked him if he could build one and he said he could. I said fine, to do it and leave a bill with my father and I would send it to him immediately, as I had an engagement that afternoon. He said he needed to be paid up front.

I exploded and told him I would not give one more cent to anyone, because after paying $10,000 up front, nothing but the counter was done. He said he would call his boss. I immediately called installed services at Lowes and spoke to a man who had called me several times to know what was going on. I told hime very angrily that I was not paying another penny up front to anyone, and that the plumber never showed,

He haughtily, in his broken English. Told me he wanted to have "a civilized onversation" I told hm I paid $10,000 up front, in cash for the job snd appliances. He then very rudely told me "Obviously that's not true because you still owe $59.95 for the shelf" I thought I was hearing things.

I have never been treated so shabbily in my life. He told me he would call the installation company snd call mebasck&which he NEVER did. When I got home later that evening my father told me they installed the dishwasher but the manw as told NOT to install the microwave.

I then called Lowes and spoke to a manager who told me the comment from the man with the broken English wasn't very nice, but to please remember that the hurricanes in Florida has taken a toll on everyone and the installers are very backlogged. I then asked hime why wasn't I told this in the beggining and I could choose to go through with the work or go elsewhere. He said they would never do that. He said I would be contacted Monday about this&I'll believe it when I see or hear it!

I'm still without running water and a big hole where the microwave should be and an unusable dishwasher. I would never buy even a lightbulb in Lowes ever again.

Don't ever go there, because their customer service is the worst I have ever seen in all 46 years of my life. Rude and condescending are just 2 of the words I can use to describe them. The other words are not fit to be printed on this website!
