Granite Transformation talks a good game about their product, but in the end their product and their installation methods are inferior and their "lifetime" guarantee is a simply a sales gimmick. I regret having Granite Transformations install their product in my kitchen. First, the granite chips very easily with the slightest bump such as when removing dishes and cups from the dishwasher. If you accidentally hit the counter while removing an item it causes a small chip in the bottom of the counter. Likewise, if you bump the counter with something it can easily cause a chip at the edge.in addition to the problem with chipping, when the counter is installed the counter and back splash are two separate pieces. Anytime there is water on the counter it seeps under that back splash and for the next two days the junction between the counter and back splash will ooze out water and will be wet for days despite wiping it up 20 times with paper towels. I would never, ever, recommend Granite Transformations to any one of my friends or family.
