Dish Network ripoff, Billed for something I did not receive, have called with no satisfaction

I payed for dish services yearly, which was up november 20-001
I notified them that their services was no longer wanted, it was turned off on november 21 oo1. The receiver was unplugged and stored away. Now they say that it was turned off in january I recieved a bill for $36.38, I called them and got no satisfaction
