Owner Larry rip-off on wedding cake!

Owner Larry and sprinkle was recently contracted, at the time by my self and my fiancee to do a cake for our wedding. The Cake was deliver to us on the day of the wedding, with a dent on the side and lening the the side. The posts that were holding the cake in place, were showing on the top. Overal it was not a good looking cake.

We were then inform by our wedding cordinator that Mr. Larry had call to inform that they had an accident and that was why the cake was that way. A week after we got married, I contacted Mr. Larry about the situation, he aknowledge the accident and also mention that they had fail to put enought support on the cake, because it was such a big cake. (250 servings).

Mr. Larry then offer some g. C to purchase cakes in the future with then, I told him that we were not interested on that we wanted monetary compensation, he then after negotiatin for a while ge agree to gave us $100 ck. For the accident. We agree, Mr. Larry at the time said that it would take a few day, we were ok and started waiting. 3 weeks went by and there was no check. I decided to contact Mr. Larry about this, he said that he was sorry that the check was place on the wrong pile of papers and that it was never send. He gurantee that he will send the check this time that that we will get it in a few days.

Another 2 weeks went by and there was no check. I aging contacted Mr. Larry about this, he at first was confuse about the amount, but after looking he agin told me that the check had never left he's desk, that this time he had forgot to send it. At that point I was not happy and ask Mr. Larry that what else will he do for us, for all this incov. He proceded to get defensive and started saying that we were been unresanable to be asking for more money, that we had not waited that long and that the will only gave us the $100 dollars.

Another week as pass by and we are still waiting for this check. Is been now almos 1 1/2 month, at this point we are not sure if we are going to get this check. I guess the nex thing to do will be small claims court.
