Ripoff don't let them get you too

I was first contacted by First Link Benefit on October 2nd with a great offer for a credit card w/$2500 limit and a free computer for a processing fee of $354.90.

I changed my mind a couple days later and called them to cancel. They told me I did not need a confirmation number for the cancellation. My bad for that.

They took the money anyway and ran. I called them when I realized it was taken out and all they told me is that it is a non-refundable amount because they don't have record of my cancellation.

I haven't received anything yet and don't think I will. If ever you have to pay for something "FREE" don't do it.
