Hollister is obnoxious shopping experience - In store experience, discount practices

The shopping experience at Hollister is so painful, they don't deserve my (or anyone's) business. The music blares so loudly you literally can't hear yourself think, much less converse with shop employees or fellow shoppers. The lighting is ridiculous. You can't see the color of merchandisc unless you seek out one of the small rays of light from the sparse ceiling fixtures. Prices are steep and "sales" are wimpy compared to American Eagle, Aeropostle and others serving the teen market. Placement of "sale" and price signage throughout the store is very misleading!

Online experience didn't improve my opinion. Heartened by a 25% discount prominently displayed on the homepage, I decided to order jeans for my daughter. Oops! Discount doesn't apply to jeans. That is clearly stated in the fine print somewhere off of the homepage.

Tried to register my complaint with Hollister on their customer service website. What a surprise... Complaints page was "unavailable."
