Murphy's gas station on Outer Loop in the Walmart shopping center in Fairdale, KY: I tried to get a fill-up but was refused service because the teller said no bills larger than $20.00 are accepted now. She mentioned receiving six counterfeit bills in the past week. On December 10, 2025, I attempted to fill up, and she refused my $50.00 bill. The service has gone downhill in the past year. I purchase about one thousand gallons a month, so say goodbye to my business. I have gotten gas there for over 15 years.

I thought there was a pen that could detect counterfeit bills. She needs to be replaced immediately. She is always outside smoking, and you have to wait for her to come inside the building to get service. I know that I am venting with this review.
