I "won" a raffle at this man's booth at a local festival. I was told I would receive $300 worth of product from the booth and a catered meal. I have received neither, weeks later. He texted and called me to arrange a visit to my home. In this call, I was informed that he would be performing a product demonstration and was expected (but not required) to invite more couples to my home. He claimed he would bring me my $300 worth of merchandise at this event I would be hosting.

The night before our scheduled visit, he texted me to inquire about how many would be attending, and I stated that only one other couple would be present. The next morning, he texted that he would be unable to make it because his father passed away during the night. Unbeknownst to him, I did a bit of character research on him before agreeing to allow him into my home. We have mutual acquaintances, and his father passed away several years ago.
