Total scam!

Okay I feel that this needs to be heard in case future guests experience the horrid customer service that I just did from this company.

A groupon was purchased for my husband and I as a date night to get away from the kids. It included two tickets (of course not to a special event, they want to save those tickets to get the big $) two appetizers and two tickets to a future show. Well, unfortunately I had a death in my family that had to be dealt with and begged the Improv club to extend the groupon deal. They did, but with an attitude.

Day of the show, the line was extremely long. At the ticket booth, the lady took our groupon with an attitude and handed up two blue tickets for a future show. The expiration date on the tickets was a few days before we went to the show. I questioned this to the lady and she said they will extend the expiration date until whenever you use them (just in a reasonable time, meaning don't wait 2 years, ext.) I said to my husband, great! Another date night & the lady at the ticket booth even laughed and told us to have a great time. The wait time was horrid, on top of it they sell overpriced drinks and horrible food that could come straight from a deep fryer at your own house. HORRIBLE, never again. There was only one good comedian out of 4 total.

Bottom line, this is where my issue came in. I called today (exactly one month after we saw the show) wanting to make another reservation. I explained how I had the two vouchers and how they were extended. The lady on the phone laughed and said "uhhhh, those are DEFINITELY not valid" A bit confused, I explained politely to the lady the WHOLE situation again. She was adamant about them being expired, so I asked to speak to the manager. The manager was 10x worse than this lady. She didn't want to give me the time of day and it took me explaining the WHOLE situation again 3x for her to comprehend what I was saying. She then said, no they aren't valid, SORRY! CONFUSED and getting angry I asked her to be refunded seeing that I didn't get half of my deal and (with her admitting to a employee error) should get my money back or ANOTHER extension because an employee failed to tell me that they were only valid for another week following the show.

Long story short, this place may have a few decent comedians every once in a while. But the headache out ways the good in this case. I will take my money and business somewhere else rather than pay for CRAPPY, RUDE, INCOMPETENT morons to deal with, disgusting deep fried over priced food and watered down drinks. Please learn from my experience. Because I did the hard way. That is the FIRST AND LAST time I will step foot in that place..
