I purchased bar crawl tickets for Boston on St. Patrick's day from SkyNet Media Group, AKA BarCrawls.com. First they advertised the price as $25, and raised the price when I added them to my cart to check out. Then I arrived to the check-in point to find a 3 hour wait to get a wristband to participate. At no point did they disclose I would have to wait 3 hours in a line. After waiting 3 hours at the checkin point, I found out that they special they promised ($2 beer, etc.) where actually not available and the discount was only $1 off the price. The 12 bars they promised to be on the bar crawl list all had 2 hour waits to get into, and they all charged an addition cover charge. Also, they hide the fact that 75% of the bars on the list are only open to the bar crawl for 2 of the 8 hours of the crawl. Absolutely nothing they advertised was the truth, and it is a huge scam. No one that paid these people was satisfied.
