Larry O'Brian, Lindsey LIAR's and Con Artists

I interviewed with Lindsey in uptown Charlotte NC about 2 weeks ago. This for selling advertising for sports poster and ticket schedules. She said the job offered $30K base plus commission and health care benefits after 120 days. She gave me a packet when I left that had sample sales presentations and advertising order forms along with a few blank business cards. She asked me to call Kevin or Kyle the next day to do a phone interview. She also mentioned if this worked out that they may ask me to take a day to do a test run and try to sell some on my own so that I got a feel for the job and to see if I would like it.

The phone interview with Kyle went well and he asked me to call in the next day and talk to Larry O'Brian. I did and Larry asked me to make some sales calls last week on 10/27 to see if I could get some new partnerships with some of the local High Schools that they currently were not working with.

I called on several schools and even signed up one. He told me I would get paid $100.00 for this contract. I was getting frustrated that even after working at least a 1/2 day or more that they still did not offer me a job. The next day on Friday 10/28 they finally offered me a job and asked me to Liz in there HR department. I like an idiot gave them my SS number and other important information. * When I figured out this was a scam... I protected myself with fraud protection. I still had questions and concerns about the company and I emailed them to Larry and he promised to answer them later that day. I also asked the offer in writing and I also never got this either.

Larry O'Brian asked me to start Monday 10/31 and try to get more schools to sign up and then in the afternoon to try and sell ads for Myers Park HS upcoming Basketball posters. I drove over 120 miles yesterday and called on numerous businesses and schools. Thank goodness I did not make any sales.

When I got home I called Larry and asked him about answering my questions and the written offer he said he would get it to me and answered a few of my questions and tried to butter me up by saying he would allow me to get health insurance after 90 days not 120 days since he knew that this was an important issue to me.

I still felt like something wasn't right so I called Lindsey back and asked her straight out if this was a scam. She said NO! I called Larry back and also asked him and he said that know that they are a legitimate company. After upsetting me last week and last night, I decided that I had enough with this backwards company and I was going to go see Larry today, but before I did my husband found out this scam information on this site after googling Larry OBrian's name.

Please do not fall for there slick ways!!! I hope soon that these terrible people get in trouble with the law for fraud and bad business!
