I booked tickets to see Take That in concert at Manchester City Stadium for the 4th June through www.clworldwideevents.com on the 1st Nov. I received a confirmation e-mail and actually spoke to a 'member ofstaff' on 0207 005 5347 to check it was legit. She informed me that their head office was based in Malaga, they had been in operation for seven years and provided me with their UK address. The website had been the top site on a google search and had a https address, so I stupidly trusted it.

At the beginning of Jan I decided to check the company again, only to find the website had disappeared, e-mail sent to their two e-mail addresses bounced back and the telephone numbers disconnected (other number 0203 142 7112). I followed up their UK address at 77 Oxford Street in London and spoke the Centre Manager at MWB Business Exchange Plc who lease offices in the building. They did hire a room, but had since left. The Manager had met one of the individualsleasing the office, so he could assist the police by describing and identifying them. I have informed Action Fraud, who could hopefully follow up this lead. They have passed my report to the police, but Inot sure ifit is being investigated at this point.

I am not sure how many people have lost their money or are even aware that they have been scammed, but I would urge you to contact Action Fraud 0300 123 2040 immediately to start a police investigation. It won't necessarily get you your money back, but at least it may help to catch these fraudsters.
