AcademyDJs.com, This DJ service is HORRIBLE and uses sub-contracted DJs - RIPPED ME OFF!

I hired Academy DJs for my daughter's wedding reception. At first everything seemed great. They had an okay website and Richard sounded nice over the phone. The problems began when her wedding day came...

We had no idea until arriving at the reception hall (a little too late) that Richard was just a money-hungry small business owner and rarely DJ's himself! That's right... He pulled the old SWITCHEROO and we were stuck with someone else that evening we've never met!

It turns out that Richard hires inexperienced DJ's (sub-contracted young guys calling themselves "DJ's") who have little or no time in the industry. This is completely misleading and he should be put in jail for doing such a thing!

My daughter and her new husband tried their best to get past this "other" DJ. Her biggest concern was that everyone have a good time. Unfortunately, the DJ we were stuck with did not mesh well with our family. He did NOT play many of our requests and some of the guests complained afterwards.

I wish I would have found this site BEFORE hiring Richard Barker - Academy DJs. I had no idea something like this would happen to my daughter. When Richard Barker refused to refund our money, he gave me no choice but to go to this site. I also filed a complaint with the BBB and we will be going to small claims court over this also.

If you're searching for a wedding DJ, avoid Academy DJs!!!
