Where do I start? You put your event at a risk by hiring this company, Mattox Entertainment. They are an advertiser in The Wedded Bliss and I can not believe that the editor did not do a background check on these people.

They have absolutely NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE.

When I contacted them for pricing, they gave me a range of prices - but would not commit to tell me what my choices were. I told them I was compare prices among vendors for my wedding and they still wouldn't give me definite pricing.instead, they talked about how they were "not in it for the money" like other companies.

They would not provide me with their business hours either. How can I hire someone that doesn't have business hours? When am I going to reach them?

So, I did a background check on these people and it was interesting. I found a company they were trained by and a representative said that Ron and Norma Mattox attempted to "train" with the company, steal the company's music database, copy the company's private documents, and then open their own business - without any experience. WHAT A JOKE! I can't believe these people can be in business?

I'm NOT going to let these people entertain at my wedding. I look at their contract and there a small line about not being responsible for damage to another person:

"Client agrees to defend, indemnify, assume liability for and hold M.E. Harmless from any claims, damages, losses and expenses by or to any person, regardless of the basis, which pertains directly or indirectly to M.E. S performance of DJ and MC services."

Then they say:

"This agreement of the DJ to perform is subject to proven detention by accidents, riots, strikes, epidemics, acts of God, or any other legitimate conditions beyond their control." RIOTS??? What is an act of God?
