United Artist Movie Theatre
I am handicapped and had to walk around the entire building - UA at Sheapshead Bay, Brooklyn NY

I went to see "Notorious" at UA Sheapshead Bay. When the movie was over, we were told to exit through the exit doors into the street. I told the officer that I was handicapped and that my car was in the handicapped parking area in the front of the theatre. "They" would not listen, called it crowd control, and made me exit to the street. I then had to walk around an entire block to get to my car. I have had lung cancer surgery which affects my breathing in cold weather, and also spinal surgery, which I had in Feb. It hurts when I walk, and I need additional surgery. I was very upset and went back into the theatre to speak with a manager, who of course said nothing.

I don't see why handicapped people can't go to their cars from the lobby as this walk-around caused me great pain and inconvenience. What can be done about changing the so calledrules of this theatre? I might add that the police or whoever theywere, were quite rude and didn't want to hear a thing. I am still very upset about this and I know I will never go to that theatre again
