Netflix ripped me off also.
I used their services for about 6 months. And have to agree that their service did slow down greatly. And there were some bad DVDs. Also in the 2nd month I sent a DVD back and they said that they didnt receive it and I would have to pay for it. I sent them a nasty E-mail.
3 or four weeks later they said the got the DVD back.
Then a month before I quit them they did it again. This time they charged me for it. So I quit them. Enough is enough.
