My fiance and I employed this DJ "A Solid Gold Sound" for our wedding scheduled July (We paid them March 10 as they were egging us on to pay before their "Incredible Offer Expired!". Everything seemed perfect at first while we were potential customers. It looked like they had a great product and were very versatile in the types of services they could provide. This was the second most important part of our wedding (next to the ceremony itself, of course, as my fiance and I are both extremely passionate about music. It was important that this service was the one we invested in the most). The sales people we worked with did very well at the beginning answering any questions we may have had but it seems after we paid them it all went downhill from there. Any time we had further questions and called in practically every representative we spoke to was very brief and slightly rude. We brushed it off because ultimately they answered our questions. Unfortunately, we were unable to recite our nuptials and we had to postpone our day due to financial reasonings. We submitted our refund sheet September 26th then called in a couple weeks later to check on the status of our refund. They quoted us 30 days and we would receive our refund in check form via U.S. Mail. October 31st we still had not received it and naturally my fiance and I were getting quite anxious. We've called in several times since then and were told that the only person that handles this is a fellow named "John" and now we've both spoken to him a few times. Each time we get brushed off and he asks for a phone number to call us back at. We've given him our phone number four times! We still have not received a call back from him, nor, have we even seen our refund. I just called John again today at 12:30pm (GMT) and he was at lunch (as he always seems to be whenever I call in) it is now currently 2:30pm and STILL no call back. It is now November 11th. Golden Rip Off, right?
