1 Month later and I still haven't been paid but they want me to shoot more events right?

I haven't been paid for services rendered on October 11th and it is one month to the day that I performed duties for A Solid Gold Sound. I've talked to Ron, John, JD, and the whole staff and NONE of them can tell me that my check has been sent or that I will be getting paid at all. I'm starting to think they can't make payroll...

Here is a copy of the email i sent to asgs rep's. Today is 11/11.

My name is Charles, I'm a videographer that has shot several weddings working with Jim Firth mostly. I've always had a great professional working relationship with A Solid Gold Sound and hope to continue that relationship. I completed a wedding ceremony and reception on 10/11 and sent the tapes to the regular location on 10/14. This is the first time I've ever had to wait this long for payment for services rendered and with the present economy I have to wonder if making payroll is the cause for this issue. I have called at least 5 times talking to reps resulting in no definite answer as to when I will recieve payment and this is disheartening to say the least as I have upfront costs that I incur (tapes, gas, microphone rental) to be reimbursed when I receive payment.

I have tried to resolve this manner without taking a hard stance, but this goes two ways. When I say that I will handle an event A Solid Gold Sound takes the position that I will make good on that commitment, and I take the position that A Solid Gold Sound will make good their end paying me what is the agreed rate. I will need a tracking number for the check that was sent to me (if it has not been already) payable to myself for services rendered on October the 11th, the Vanyo/Boggs wedding. I am scheduled to shoot a wedding this Saturday 11/15. This check should arrive before Friday if I am expected to hold up my end of the bargain.
