I am writing to corroborate the report by Alan K. Posted earlier. I too was ripped off by Jeffrey Haber (dba Jeffrey Heart DJs). Responding to a last minute Craigslist posting to fill in for a wedding the next day (Friday August 1st), Haber met with me and gave me CDs and a written contract for $400. He stated that his accountant cuts checks twice a month, and that our check would be processed around August 15th. We performed at the wedding without incident.

The check was never sent. The first excuse was that his accountant was on vacation. After countless more excuses and lies, I did an internet search on this individual and was horrified to learn that at least ten other DJs/videographers had been defrauded by Haber, most since August.

I also in my research discovered numerous negative reviews posted by brides who'd been disappointed by Jeffrey Heart DJ's service. The most typical fact set was that Haber bailed out due to a last minute excuse (gall bladder surgery, back pain, etc.) and sent whoever.in my opinion, Haber deliberately overbooked himself, found replacement DJs on Craigslist who he never intended to pay and then just pocketed ALL of the money.in the process, he gambled with the memories of a bride's once-in-a-lifetime wedding celebration.

Prospective clients - DJs - Beware of Jeffrey Haber. His ethics are shoddy. He is a disgrace to the mobile DJ industry.

BEWARE! Don't be his next victim.
