Rip Off Modeling/Acting Company

I just wanted to state that I was an Office Manager for this company but not only did they rip off the models/actors but they also ripped off their employees. Just like the models/actors came one day and the building was vacated that is what happened to the employees. I was affiliated with both locations and worked closely with the CEO in Tampa. He I believe was ripped off also by the owner who was located in Missouri towards the end he had to get a part time job of his own. The way the employees found out were either our direct deposits were no good and all of our bank accounts were being overdrawn or the checks were bounced. Personally I am owed over $3000 for two payrolls and expenses not to mention all the fees I incurred from my bank and creditors.

So, I know to this day that the director had to change her name because the models and actors were looking her up and calling her and it was ruining her acting and modeling career because of the bad reputation that they put on her.

They really stole a lot of girls dreams, some of these girls used money that their parents gave them for education, books, etc. They were passionate about it and it was sad to see what happened.

Be careful of companies that make you pay for training yes you have to pay for photos and comp cards but becareful and another thing I found out is that if a company is LLC (Limited Liability Company) there is very little people can do when that company goes bankrupt. Jonathan Marcus got smart and changed their status to LLC about 6 months after opening the Tampa location.
