Game Show Gurus
Do not work for him! I would not hire him eiter!

I would like to first say I have tried to work with Jeff on my issues and he has sent me rude, innaccurate, almost absurd sounding responses to my complaints to him via phone and e-mail!!!

THE BACKSTORY&I heard of a company going by the name of 'The Game Show Gurus' thru my friend Scott Alan a local actor. He said this company contacted him regarding a need for hosts and set-up (roadie) crew.
I am also a Free-lance TV/Radio personality that also does Sales, so I thought it would be really cool to work for a place that goes to venues and actually performs a 'Live' game show.

From the first time meeting Jeff, the owner, at his home office which was in a very unorganized basement of his home, I had my doubts. He said he never heard of Scott and does not care too much for graduates of Illinois Center for Broadcasting where I went as well as a few of his other workers went to training. I should have known better to work for this guy right then, but I gave him benefit of doubt.

I agreed to try him out at $12/hr free-lance to set-up and then fill in later in night as a HOST of game show.
I was scheduled to work at Nequa Valley high School for two days totaling about 18 to 20 hours on April 11 and 12.

Well, it is OVER ONE MONTH later AND STILL NO CHECK sent to me for the first day of work ONLY TOTALING 7 HOURS AT $84. I was unable to work the second day, because being 34 and a little out of shape, I had hurt my back while lugging these huge speakers around gym and picking them up to put on stands, and I mostly did set-up by myself because we only had three people there to set-up two stages&this event was way bigger than Jeff said because he probably figured I would not want to work if I knew exactly beforehand. I told him in interview and again at event I really wanted to Host only!!!

Jeff has only responded in absurd messages talking about how I disappointed him and he had all these hosting gigs for me and I am a cry baby. He even wanted me to work the next weekend, for which I releuctantly agreed to work at first over phone, where he would have check for six hours because he said most of the seven hours was me talking to him

This guy is a little unstable folks!!! Do not bother to work for synimagic/game show gurus. After talking w / him as a client i am sure most would be reluctant to hire him also!!!
