Denied Refund on Disney on Ice Tickets for Wrong City

I made an error when I bought tickets for the Nemo edition of Disney on Ice: they turned out to be for Minnesota, even though I live in Denver. I phoned Ticketmaster.com, where I was told nothing could be done, and they would neither refund nor exchange the tickets. Reaching a supervisor took three calls. I was hung up on the first two times I requested one, and on the third call the supervisor showed no sympathy and refused to help.
I will not use ticketmaster.com again. That will be hard, because my child is 4 years old and the site has a monopoly on ticket sales.
Oh well.
