Ripoff fraudulent billing Indiana

Received a letter from SKO Brenner American, Inc., a nationwide collection service stating that I owed 30.84 to Columbia House. I called them to find out what this might be about. All they could tell me was it was an old account, possibly 5 years old. And they are just sending it to collections.

They told me apparently I had enrolled in the Columbia House DVD club but did not honor the terms o fthe contract by not ordering a certain number of DVDs within a certain period of time.

I don't order DVDs for this very reason. They try to make you pay for something you don't want and never ordered.

I tried to get an address/phone number but they did not have have one. Told me to go to the website and they would have a toll free number.

I called Columbia house, but no one could give me any information.
