Discusting Customer Service ripoff

I attended the singles dance in Glastonbury Connecticut last night, March 26th. The theme and the advertising told me it was Counrty Western Night, along with top 40 hits. Well I was there for 1 hour before I even heard one country song and the balance of the songs were mostly salsa music. I went to the DJ and asked him to play more country and he told me he would play a few. I told him it was Country Wester night and he said he would play a few. I went to the front desk and then to the bar area and the bartender said he would find someone for me to speak to. A lady came to the bar the bartender spoke to her and when I asked him if the manger was coming he said, oh that was the owner and I told her your complaint. I said I wanted to speak to her so I went to the front desk and she was wiring a note to the DJ, mostly country and less top 40. I stopped her, she showed me the note and I thought the music would change.

Within the next 2 hours, not one of the 'country' songs that I requested were played and for that matter. Not one country song period was played. I went back to the DJ and he said he would get to it. That there were other people ahead of me but I said AGAIN, it is Country Western night and those requests should be played first.

My fiance went and spoke to the Manager and she was rude and did not have the first idea how to handle a patron with any form of Customer Service. I was there for 4 hours and it took almost until the end of those 4 hours to hear the songs I had requested and I had requested them about 30 mins after I had arrived. I tired to speak to the manager twice, only I could not because she was no the dance floor dancing to the non country music.

My point is, why advertise something if you are not going to deliver it? Why allow people to pay $13.00 each for something when you do not provide it? And, most importantly, if you are in a business that interacts with people, why in the world would you hire an inexperienced, rude manger?
