Avery fisher hall - Handel's Messiah concert at Avery Fisher Hall

My fault for not doing enough research. Thought i was on the box office site as i started out at the nyphil.org site. Went to purchase tickets for a concert and it brought me to ticket liquidator. I wound up paying more than twice what the ticket is worth. And to rub salt into the wound, found out there are plenty of seats left. I am more than a month away from the concert, so it wasn't a matter of panicking at the last moment. I thought i was too smart for this! Lol just goes to show you... Buyer beware. Go to the box office first and check out the pricing so at least you can decide if the soaking you're gonna get is worth it!
