Land lord took money that did not belong to him

I rented a bad apartment the land lord unfairly raised my rent, took me to court and charged me court expenses, after i moved out the land lord charged me a whole month rent for 5 days, never refunded my security deposit and had my bank account garnished for increase rent, court cost and late fees i did not agree to, i suffered heavy financial lost and damages that this effected my financial status, i got turned down and rejected by agencies when trying to apply for other housing and apartments
