Company wants to collect a second montly rent when the lease was terminated

Our rental contract claims my regular lease arrives on or before 1st of the month;additionally, it says that overdue cost arrives after 20th of the month. They promoted the first month might charge a buck and that I taken care of 2 weeks in advance. I haven't overlooked any regular rent. I have now been together since 10/26. I settled the lease at beginning of April;after I told them I had been shifting on 04/30, they requested for another lease that we declined to pay for then I obtained a notice from the gathering era week. Please aid.
