Late Fees

Our bill was offered to EverHome Mortgage in November. Dec I delivered a check also it wasn't banked until 12/11/08.in January, I settled on point on January 2 plus they charged me $12.00 overdue charge since it was overdue (due on 1/1/09). I delivered them a contact as well as their customer support division named and quit me a note that because it was due on 1/1/09 that I had been overdue since I settled on 1/2/09. I've never heard about this and that I can't get one to return my phone to describe it in my experience. Throughout the 8 years that I've had this mortgage, I've never had a late charge, nor believe I ought to have gotten that one for spending on 1/2/09. Personally I think the $12.00 ought to be attributed back again to my bill or they are able to use it the main. I actually donot need a late charge on my mortgage.
