3 years ago we purchased a new roof from Sears with all the "warrantees" etc. We were promised a non leaky roof or they will rectify it immediately. Well, I had a non leaky roof at the time-it was just very old and it looked ugly and looked as though it would start going soon. So instead of listening to a contractor friend who advised us not to do a new roof untill needed-we went ahead with Sears. Immediately we had rain inside my house and den. My walls look like they are melting and my ceilings are ruined. What did Sears do? Well after numerous calls they sent out the installer who claimed it wasn't the roof! I am still complaining... Last month a professional roofer went onto the roof and claimed that the area I have the leaks have cardboard in them instead of flashing or other roofing materials!!! They probably ran out of materials and didn't bother. I called Sears again and again and I am just getting a run around. One more chance Sears until I get lawyers into this!
