MOLDY house and LOUSY customer service and won't remediate professionally ripoff Disreputable, careless, and negligent

Beware of mold! Elliott Building Group builds new homes in Pa. And New Jersey. This builder refuses to sufficiently remediate a mold problem in the house we are having built. They left standing water in a dry walled basement for 6 weeks before cleaning it up and mold spread up all of the walls, across the ceiling onto the insulation and has permeated the wood framing and beams.

Then when they decided to do something, they simply tore out some of the sheet rock, some of the insulation and dragged it up the steps and through the house. Their clean up after consisted of spraying the walls with diluted Clorox. They clearly did not follow even the basic EPA recommendations for mold remediation of over 100 sq. Ft. Of which even I am aware.

Ironically, Brad Elliott, the President and founder is secretary of the Pa. Builder's Association, an organization "devoted to... Provide consumers optimum quality and value for the housing dollar."

The basement remains at a high level of relative humidity - 72% most recently and the wood framing in the basement is soaking wet... Over the top on the moisture meter. We want professional remediation and they won't even allow a professional in to inspect.

Their customer service is horrible and their main office will NOT return phone calls, not even my attorney's. Stay away... Far, far away. Disreputable, careless, and negligent.
